History
1984: Lancair is established by graphic
designer Lance Neibauer.
1994: Lancair begins to manufacture
completed kits.
2003: The kit part of the business is sold
to Joseph Bartels.
2005: The aircraft manufacturing division
is spun off as a separate company named Columbia Aircraft.
2007:
Columbia Aircraft is acquired by Cessna.
